The latest full release version of Unshake, Unshake 1.5 release 1 is available here. The previous release was Unshake 1.4r2.
Unshake 1.5 updates the code and fixes some annoying bugs. It usually gives better results than Unshake 1.4.
Also included is a C version for Linux, with the same capabilities, but no graphical interface - it is command-line only.
Of late, there has been a trend to give names of animals to releases of programs, for example RedHat Linux version 9 was called Shrike, and Mac Os X versions are called Jaguar, Panther and Tiger. Some might say that this is to reassure the user, confused by almost meaningless numbers. I incline to thinking that its only effect is to bewilder the user.
Reluctant to buck the trend, I have decided that Unshake 1.5 is to be known as "Small Wriggly Thing".
